Apr 6 – May 18 (7 weeks)
This course is designed for the student who wants to improve throwing, trimming and glazing skills. In addition, we will introduce more challenging forms: teapots, lidded forms, and bottles. Critiques will involve assessing relationships between the various parts of the pot (foot, body, shoulder, lip, neck etc.) If you are interested in developing your own unique style, evolving as a potter, and learning how to "see" with a critical eye, please join us! Must have experience and be able to center 2 lbs. of clay and pull an even wall. Must be 18 years of age or older. (9 students)
