Our exploration of clay will lead us to learn so many things–technical, aesthetic, and conceptual! We will hone our basic hand building skills, working with techniques of slab, pinch pot, and coil construction. We will also delve into what it means to make art. Through play and practice, we will create works of art both functional and sculptural. Bonus!! We will also get a chance to try the potter’s wheel! I’m really looking forward to this class!
